FOCUS ON: HIGH-RISE PAINTING AND REPAIRSñ

Mix salt air with ever-present moisture, and the result is a salt-water mix that can quickly deteriorate the steel rebars of reinforced concrete. FOCUS ON: "COOL" ROOF COATINGS

Coating a roof with liquid-applied waterproofing material can save on energy costs and greatly extend the life of the roof. Due to rising air conditioning costs coupled with smaller budgets, many of our clients have expressed interest in this emerging market. The initial up-front investment is more than made up for by years of significant energy savings.

Additionally, the liquid-applied systems we are using can effectively waterproof the roof. It can work well for condominiums who are trying to make their existing roofs last another five or ten years without re-roofing.

FOCUS ON: "STICK-BUILT" STUCCO

So many condominiums and townhomes built during the construction boom of 2000-2005 are composed of stucco over wood frame ("stick-built") walls. Stucco, like concrete, is a cement-like material. It will crack, even if the cracks are microscopic.

It must be effectively waterproofed, and there must be a way for water to get out of the walls if/when it gets inside. Unfortunately the applicable building codes during construction did not adequately address the longevity of the buildings. Oftentimes developers slapped thin paint on the walls—not a waterproof coating. We have the experience to fix these moisture intrusion issues.
